2017, A new year full of opportunities!

We have hit the ground running for 2017! We have already had 2 filming days, one at The Holly Bush Alcester and One at Endeavour Vehicles in Alcester. Both fantastic (and cold) days where as always the cast and crew were amazing! Below Is a picture of us all with Endeavour. I will add some more BTS at the end of this post but make sure you keep updated on all our BTS over on our facebook here.

We have also found out we will be included in Digital Film maker magazine on the 2nd February, you can purchase your digital copy of the magazine here. Please get yourself a copy, your support is always appreciated!

We are also really excited to announce we will be attending Swansea Horror Con on the 1st/2nd July 2017. We will be showing Episode 1 and then doing a Q & A panel with the team and cast members. We will also have a stand where you will be able to meet and greet everyone, have any photographs taken and pick up some Pathogen Merchandise! You can find out more about Swansea Horror Con by Visiting their facebook page!

Last but not least, we are welcoming Martin Ballantyne to our cast! He is joining us to be the sinister Director Reynard. Martin is best known for his roles in Batman, Dark Knight Rises and Harry Potter. We are all really excited to have Martin on the Cast and we cannot wait to start filming with him!

All in all January has been a really busy, successful month for us so far. We are now ready for February to get our final scenes filmed for Episode 1 so we can begin being able to get out there and share it with you all! Thank you all again for your continued support and we hope to see you all soon!

August Filming in Alcester

So we have just finished our first round of filming! We absolute love how supportive the Alcester community is, we really cannot thank you as town enough. Massive thanks to The Holly Bush for accommodating us over 4 days and for letting us take over your pub!

Cast, Crew, supporting Artists & the owners of The Holly Bush, Alcester.

We had lots of people show up to not only take part but to take time out of their days to watch & support us. Again we are thankful to these people and we love seeing you guys! We especially loved chatting with this amazing lady who told us how she got married in the grounds we were filming!

We would also like to extend thanks to Alcester SNTs who spared some time for us to pop down to set and oversee some photographs we were taking.

All those who turned out to support us on the 25th, you were all truly amazing people. You stuck with us through the cold, wind and rain and we are beyond grateful for you sticking with us!

We also met up with our first Pathogen prize winner who had her prize presented to her by Jason Farries & one of our Supporting Artists. Well done Mrs Paddy, it was great to meet you & we hope you're enjoying your prizes.

We have battled the blistering heat, wind, rain and storms, it really has been an eventful August filming for us! The picture below shows how we all currently feel so we are off to recharge ready for Septembers kick off on the 18th! Hope to see you all on set soon & thank you again from all of us for your ongoing support.

Alcester Dementia Cafe

Today we headed to Alcester and shared a cup of tea with Carole Zambonini, founder of Alcester Dementia cafe. Following a chat with Carole she kindly introduced us to all the lovely volunteers who help out at the cafe- who all work completely unpaid. We mingled with the volunteers and also some of the people accessing the service. What we saw today was unbelievable and we are all so proud to be helping fund raise for this amazing cause.

Whilst talking to Carole it was so apparent how passionate she is for this cause. Carole started Dementia cafe around 4 years ago after her mother, who had dementia, passed away. Before her passing, Carole's mother had dementia for a number of years, this is where Carole realised there was very little care/support/help for them or other people, friends and families affected by dementia. Whilst talking to us about the service, her ambitions for its growth she could not thank us enough for our offer of support and she became very emotional which in turn set us off as well!

Currently Dementia Cafe opens twice weekly on Tuesdays & Fridays from 10.30am until 12.30pm in Jubilee Hall, they welcome anyone with memory problems or dementia, families, friends & carers. They help provide information on all aspects that range from benefits to continence and stages of dementia to care homes. The Dementia Cafe is a service beyond excellence!

Their next step is to provide a secure & friendly environment to be able to offer respite for the carers. This is a service that is needed so badly. Carole & her team urgently need the funds to be able to make this happen and be able to open a dementia day care facility and give carers the much needed 'me' time they deserve.

This service currently has NO Income/funding and they rely on local fundraising from trustees, various clubs & groups within Alcester & of course a lot of support from the fantastic local community!

This is where Pathogen, our supporters/followers and of course the local community come in. We want to help make this happen. Carole has worked so hard and provided such an amazing service to the local community, lets help show her how much the community appreciates it!

We will have 7 donation tins around the town on Sunday from 10am, we are also taking donations for them via our just giving page (www.justgiving.com/pathogenfilms) for all our followers who cannot attend on Sunday. So lets dig deep, even £1 off every cast/crew/follower would make such an amazing difference to their charity.

Thank you all so much in advance, Thank you to all those at the Dementia Cafe today for being so accommodating to us and finally a huge thank you to Carole for everything, you are one amazing lady!

Zombie Attack in Alcester!!!!

What a day the 30th September turned out to be! The much awaited first filming day for Patient Zero! We had full use of The Royal Oak in Alcester High Street and we were all pumped to make sure we made the most of it!

Landlord Jake volunteered himself to be eaten on the front pavement and looked fantastic!

Our resident make up artist Helen did an absolutely amazing Job, that good that we even had a nurse pull over and offer assistance! Now that is when you know the make up artist is totally rocking the 'walking dead' look perfectly. Big pat on the back for Helen!

Mama Zombie was totally rocking the Zombie look perfectly, movement, sound and the look. She most definitely stirred up some attention in the town!

We acquired ourselves 3 new crew members to welcome, Claire Wood - Make up artist, Elyse Attwood - Runner and Andy Attwood - Boom operator (#boomandy as he is now affectionately known by cast and crew). We welcome you on board and look forward to working with you on the future filming days.

Such a great day had by all crew and cast and we cannot wait for the next filming day! Pathogen production crew have a meeting planned on the 5th October where hopefully we can release some new filming dates and locations to all your fabulous fans and aspiring zombies.

Massive thanks to all those involved on Wednesday. Cast, crew and supporters.
